Overview
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Our Review
No Time to Die seems to take everything we love about the Bond movies – the ridiculous doomsday weapons, the vast and brutalist hideouts, the henchmen with silly facial tics, and more – and send them into overdrive. Additionally, it continues many of the through-lines from Skyfall and Spectre. But you can also feel an undercurrent of freedom running through the film, as if it’s reveling in the knowledge that everything will be reset when the role is recast at some point in the future. So for now, it seems like the gloves are well and truly off.
