Two former Army Rangers are paired against their will on the road trip of a lifetime. Briggs (Channing Tatum) and Lulu (a Belgian Malinois) race down the Pacific Coast to get to a fellow soldier’s funeral on time.

Briggs, struggling with PTSD and a recent divorce, finds solace in Lulu’s unwavering loyalty and companionship. Despite their initial animosity towards each other, the duo quickly learns to work together and rely on each other as they face unexpected obstacles on their journey.

As they drive through breathtaking scenery, Briggs and Lulu bond over their shared experiences in the Army and their love for their fallen comrade. Along the way, they encounter a group of bikers, a forest fire, and even a carjacking, but they never lose sight of their mission.

As they finally arrive at the funeral, Briggs and Lulu realize that their road trip was more than just a journey to honor their friend. It was a journey towards healing and closure, a journey towards finding a new purpose in life.
