The daughter of a destitute Lord in medieval England knows her father’s plans to marry her off to a wealthy suitor. When the most vile suitor arrives, her parent’s love for her is put to the test.
She is not content with this arrangement and fears that she will not be able to live the life she wants if she is forced into this marriage. She decides to run away and makes her way to a nearby forest. There she meets a mysterious man who tells her that he can help her escape her impending marriage. He takes her to a hidden village where she will be safe from her father’s plans. The daughter is grateful to the man and decides to stay in the village, living a life of freedom and happiness.
